Police appeal for hot sunglasses

ABOUT $3000 worth of sunglasses were stolen from a shop in Lynbrook last week.
Between 1am and 5am on 17 October, burglars smashed a large front glass window at Vision One on South Gippsland Highway and stole Morrissey and Coach sunglasses. Police said the sunglasses stolen were generic brand glasses and the more expensive brands were left. A man wearing a black baseball cap, black polo vest and long-sleeved white T-shirt was captured on video footage looking into the window just before the burglary. The man was standing next to a new silver Mitsubishi Lancer, which police believe he owned. They are urging anyone with information about the theft to contact Detective Senior Constable Peter Carroll at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0661.
