THIEVES left a Hampton Park man devastated after his collection of cameras was stolen last Thursday.
The cameras’ owner was a member of the Australian Photography Society and had collected a range of video, digital and 35mm cameras and accessories.
Between 10.30am and 5.20pm on Thursday, 1 February, a Toshiba laptop computer, jewellery and jewellery box, iPod, mobile phone, digital set top box and range of cameras, UV filters, camera bags and cases were taken from the Pound Road home.
The cameras were of a professional standard.
The total value of the good stolen was estimated at $50,000.
Police said the offenders entered through a rear lounge room door and located the cameras.
They also entered the garage and stole some tools.
Anyone with information on the burglary is urged to contact Senior Constable Tim Gleeson at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0661.
