POLICE are investigating a series of burglaries at local businesses on Sunday night.
Between 10pm on Sunday and 8am on Monday, Mama Boys Pizza in Pound Road, Hampton Park, was burgled.
Offenders broke into the rear of the store and stole cash. They then threw food items around the store, stole drinks and left the freezer open, ruining everything inside it.
Between 9pm on Sunday and 9am on Monday, someone broke into the back of Ready Roast, South Gippsland Highway, Cranbourne North. Cash was stolen and items were thrown around the store as well.
Then between 11pm on Sunday and 7am on Monday, Superclean Drycleaners in High Street, Cranbourne, was broken into. The rear door was jemmied, cash taken and the store ransacked. Police believe the burglaries may be connected.
