Trio menace walker

A MAN fled after he was confronted by three men on a walking track in Hampton Park recently.
The 46-year-old man was walking from Hampton Park Shopping Centre along the track near Kirkwood Crescent at about 2pm on Saturday, 4 August when a man stopped him to ask him for the time.
As he looked at his watch, the man demanded he hand it over. When the victim refused, the man pointed down the track to where another two men were standing to indicate there was no escape.
The victim then ran to a nearby residential unit and called police. The three offenders ran off.
The man was described as in his early 20s, medium build, Caucasian, with brown hair. Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Senior Constable Ray Ross at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0661.
