A PEARCEDALE property lost most of its horse equipment after a break-in at the weekend.
Six saddles valued at a total of $5000, bridles and rugs worth $1000 and first-aid equipment were taken.
Police said the owner entered the holiday home on Mount Grandview Road and found the front gate that had been left shut and locked was open.
Thieves had somehow gained entry to a shed attached to the carport. Police said there was no sign of forced entry to the shed and the lock was still attached. The owner told police three other people held keys to the shed. The theft happened between 7pm last Friday and 11am on Saturday.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the officer in charge at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0661.
