Fisherman tackles breakfast

THE movers and shakers of local businesses were out in force at the Cranbourne Rotary Club’s annual Business Breakfast at The Settlement Hotel on Tuesday.
About 200 people listened to guest speaker and local businessman Paul Worsteling explain all the hard work that has gone into ensuring his business, Cranbourne Fishing Tackle, is one of the leading tackle shops in Australia.
A star on the Network 10 fishing program I Fish, Mr Worsteling entertained the crowd by explaining the challenges he has faced making it big in the media and some of his funnier fishing tales.
Mr Worsteling emphasised that he believed life was too short to be doing something you didn’t enjoy and people should ‘do what you want to do and be what you want to be in life’.
Musician and comedian Greg Champion of Coodabeen Champions fame entertained the crowd with a number of comical songs that had the crowd laughing and applauding.
The Cranbourne Rotary vocational chairman Roger Spencer said the club was delighted with the response from the local Cranbourne business community whose members attended in large numbers.
“It was one of the biggest turn outs we have had in the 13 years its been running and we are very happy with this year’s breakfast,” said Mr Spencer.
“As a result of how well the 13th annual event went we are looking to organise two breakfasts next year,” he said.
