Failed car robbery

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery in Cranbourne last week.
It is believed a driver was approached by three men as he stopped his car at the boom gates at Camms Road, approximately 50 metres east of Murray Court, about 11.40pm on Thursday, 16 March. The men surrounded the driver’s side open window and demanded money.
They ran north along the train line after their requests for cash were refused.
