TWO Cranbourne residents were held at a bay with a sword after a man broke into their house last week.
The man held them at bay from 7.50pm until 11pm last Thursday, 20 April at their Blanche Court home.
The man was known to the two occupants.
A number of local police units attended and trained negotiators managed to talk the man from the house.
He was arrested and taken to the Narre Warren Police Station.
No one was injured during the incident and there was no damage to the house.
