Scaffolding stolen from house

POLICE are searching for thieves who stole scaffolding after spending hours dismantling it from around a home being built in Cranbourne.
About 25 metres of steel scaffolding was taken from the building site in Karrawarren Place between 3pm on 16 April and 7am on 17 April.
The scaffold, used for bricklaying, had a number of bricks on it waiting to be laid.
Police said the thieves must have spent a couple of hours removing the bricks and taking down the scaffold.
There are no other houses built in the street, located in an estate.
Police said the thieves would have needed a large truck or trailer to removed the scaffolding.
If anyone saw or heard anything contact Detective Senior Constable Mick Van Hammond at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0661.
