PEARCEDALE Primary School has received an additional round of funding to go towards a major building project.
A further $100,000 Federal funding comes on top of $1 million awarded last year and $3 million from the State Government announced in last year’s State Budget.
Flinders MP Greg Hunt said the extra funding would go towards building and renovating classrooms, art-craft and physical education facilities, a staff administration area, canteen and student toilets at the school.
“This is a fantastic outcome for Pearcedale Primary, and will be a tremendous help to the school’s redevelopment works,” Mr Hunt said.
“The project will be such a terrific boost to the whole school community.
“It will help the school provide the best possible learning environment for local students and their teachers.”
