Rock fells motorcyclist

A MOTORCYCLIST was hit on the head with a rock as he was riding his bike in Cranbourne West on Saturday.
The 30-year-old man was heading west on Hall Road on Saturday morning when he was attacked.
Police said the rider approached the Evans Road intersection when he saw a man step out onto the middle of the road in front of him.
The motorcyclist then felt something hit the front of his helmet, smashing the helmet in.
The man received lacerations to his face and was taken to hospital.
Police said the incident could have been disastrous.
The man who threw the rock was described as Caucasian, in his mid to late 20s, with short curly hair and wearing a light blue singlet.
