A CRANBOURNE man was shocked when he discovered a man standing in his back yard.
He was further rattled when he learnt he had just interrupted an attempted burglary on his own house.
Police said the victim confronted the man, who said he was looking for a woman and then walked away.
The victim then realised glass louvres had been removed from the home’s rear toilet window.
The incident happened about 7pm on Saturday at the Clarendon Street property.
The man in the back yard was described as about 180 centimetres tall, bald, wearing blue jeans and sunglasses on his head.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Senior Constable David Measham at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0661.
