Police hunt ageing vandal

POLICE are on the hunt for a vandal in Cranbourne who is not their typical suspect.
A witness saw a man in his 60s scratch a car outside Cranbourne Centro Shopping Centre on High Street.
Police said they were surprised by the age of the offender.
The man was seen using a key to scratch a 1998 silver Mitsubishi Pajero at about 10.30am on Saturday, 2 September.
He was described as Caucasian, 178 centimetres, thin build, with white hair and wearing tracksuit pants and a blue short sleeve shirt with a yellow stripe.
Anyone with information about the man can contact the officer in charge at Cranbourne uniform police on 5991 0600.
