Healthy habits come to school

CORAL Park Primary School celebrated Education Week last week by looking at healthy habits.
The week included everything from healthy eating, exercise and education and performances on how to get more out of life.
Students watched a performance on healthy eating before participating in an aerobics sessions with Cat Martin from Freeway Sports.
There were also competitions with staff and students at the Hampton Park school, which were hotly contested during the week.
Assistant principal Gill Gray said the highlight of the week was a healthy-breakfast morning, last Thursday, which she said was well attended by parents.
“It was terrific to see so many teachers, parents and students enjoying, preparing and eating a healthy breakfast together,” Ms Gray said.
“Healthy eating and exercise is a major focus of the State Government.”
