CELEBRATIONS commemorating the 100th anniversary of the first Boy Scout Camp were held at the Village Green, Casey Fields, last week.
Sixty girl guides from across the City of Casey and Pakenham took part in the celebrations that included activities such as tracking, stalking a squirrel to try and take its gumnuts away, putting up a tent, making a Brownsea Island Squirrel, knotting, making flags and flag poles, survival skills and charades.
The girls were presented with hats on arrival and for each activity they completed were given a token to hang from their hat.
Girl Guides meet at various locations throughout the City of Casey and Pakenham.
For information about joining the Girl Guides contact Region Leader Gail Alexander on 5996 1862.
