Chip in for crazy cuts

KILBERRY Valley Primary School students sported craziness from top to bottom last Friday.
The school celebrated a Crazy Socks and Crazy Hair Day, with kids allowed to wear their hair as crazy as they liked and show off their craziest socks.
Wigs, numerous pony tails, hair spray, hair colour and plaits were among some of the crazy hairstyles seen at the school.
The children brought along a gold coin donation with all funds raised to go to two organisations that the Hampton Park school felt had consistently supported the school community throughout the years.
All money raised is to be donated to C.H.I.P.S (Christians Helping in Primary Schools) and The State Schools’ Relief Committee, an autonomous body that assists needy students at government schools with school clothing and footwear.
Teacher Lisa Cain said most children and even staff participated in the day.
“The kids had a great or should I say crazy day,” she said.
