FOOTY finals fever hit Tooradin Primary School last Friday as kids rocked up to school in their team colours.
The students took part in a range of football activities on the last day of term after they were invited to dress up in their favourite footy gear.
Teacher Sue Tobin said most of the AFL teams were represented and some other football codes also got a look in on the day.
She said there was even a goal post thanks to Mitch from grade three.
The students then paraded for the rest of the school to football club songs and later in the day took part in a variety of activities.
Ms Tobin said the house captains and vice captains organised and supervised the activities, which ranged from football relays and drills to handballing and taking “speckies” on the high jump mat.
“As usual, the older children looked after the younger ones by making sure they got a fair go,” she said. “Many children took advantage of the special footy lunch of hot dogs and drinks from the canteen.
“Thanks to everyone who contributed to the pleasant event that ended a hectic term.”
