A THIEF had a rare find at a Cranbourne home recently.
A pill container with small gold nuggets worth $1500 was stolen from the Cranbourne Drive house.
Also stolen were some money boxes and jewellery valued at $2000.
Police said the burglar gained entry through a rear rumpus room window.
The family had been away for the Easter break between 4pm on 5 April and 4.30pm on 9 April.
But police said they did not notice until 11 April that the window was broken and the items were missing.
