CRANBOURNE Primary School has elected Maddison Baker and Mitchell Dennis as its school captains for 2008.
The school and house captains are chosen by teachers from grade five and six students through an interview process.
Cranbourne Primary School’s assistant principal Bev Woodbridge said the students have to present reasons why they would be suitable for the role of school captain.
“They will help with various jobs around the school such as assisting with grade photography, assisting with mother’s and father’s day stalls and helping out on sports days,” Ms Woodbridge said.
The school captains will also attend activities such as Remembrance Day.
