Woman is robbed at knifepoint

A HAMPTON Park woman was bashed and robbed at knifepoint as she sat in her car last Thursday night.
The 30-year-old had walked from her workplace in Harnsworth Street in Mulgrave to her car, which was parked in the Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre carpark on Police Road, about 6.45pm.
Police said as the woman got into the car, two men forced their way into the vehicle.
One sat in the front passenger side and the other in the rear.
The man in the front punched the woman to the head and ribs while the second man held a knife to her throat and demanded cash.
The woman handed over a small amount of money and the two men fled on foot.
The woman was taken to the Dandenong Hospital with bruising and slight concussion.
The men are described as between 16 and 17 years old and wearing grey hooded tops and gloves. Anyone who may have witnessed the attack or who has any information on the attack is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
