CRANBOURNE kids got the opportunity to shake their stuff at the Junior Dance Idol last week.
The competition, run at Centro Cranbourne Shopping Centre, saw boys and girls from five to 16 years old dance everything from hip hop to jazz ballet.
The Cranbourne shopping centre was the first centre to launch the new Junior Dance Idol and rapt parents and friends showed up in their swarms to witness the kids as they danced for the junior dance idol top gong.
Eddie James, managing director of James Leigh Entertainment Promotions, which put on the show, said the group and solo performances were events to remember.
The kids tap danced, break danced and showed off their highland style skills, jive, jazz and ballet.
Trophies were awarded to the top three places, finalists received a medal and all participants received a certificate.
The beat lives on
