A MAN was airlifted to hospital on Wednesday morning after his car ran off the road and hit a tree on Fisheries Road.
Police say the cause of the accident is uncertain, but a medical condition may be to blame.
The CFA was called to the scene about 7am.
About 20 firefighters attended, with crews from Devon Meadows, Cranbourne, Pearcedale and Langwarrin all called out by an auto-response system.
Fisheries Road was closed for about an hour.
