Interest in walking

PEOPLE with a disability wanting to get fit and healthy through exercise can register their interest for a weekly walking program.
The City of Casey Access for All Abilities program and YMCA are seeking expressions of interest from individuals with a disability who would like to participate in the program anticipated to run for 30 minutes to an hour between 9.30am and 2.30pm.
Arts and leisure manager Robyn Bowen said walking was one of the easiest physical activities to participate in, which people of all abilities could carry out almost anywhere and at anytime.
She asked anyone interested in joining the walking program to contact the council and complete an expression of interest form.
To register an interest visit www.casey.vic.gov.au to download a registration form or contact City of Casey Access for All Abilities project officer Kirsty Beattie on 9705 5200, TTY 9705 5568 or TIS (Translating and Interpreting Services) 131 450.
