CRANBOURNE U3A members got into the Christmas spirit recently.
After a long year, members and their families and friends celebrated in style at the Amstel Golf Club, marking the end of 2006.
They were entertained by singers and feasted on Christmas dinners surrounded by friends, some old, some new.
Two members – Judie Hedrick and Olive Hallisey – celebrated a 25-year friendship.
The U3A is now looking forward to moving into its new home at the Cranbourne Library early in the new year.
Until then, the group will still use the Devon Meadows Scout Hall from Monday to Thursday and the Old Shire Offices on Fridays.
The first meeting next year will be on Friday, 2 February from 10am to 3pm at the Old Shire Offices on the corner of Sladen Street and South Gippsland Highway, Cranbourne.
For more information on the U3A contact Bev Wood on 5995 0339.
