Trips keep teens busy

THE weather may be getting colder but the City of Casey’s teenage school holiday program will be sure to keep the youth outdoors.
As part of this year’s winter program, visits to Circus Oz, the AFL Hall of Fame and Puffing Billy are all on offer.
For the more adventurous, go-karting, mini golf, Laserforce, mountain biking and a range of sports are part of the package.
City of Casey youth and community development manager Janette Green said the program was a chance for young people aged 12 to 17 to have a great time and try something new.
“We’ve lined up some fantastic new activities, as well as some popular favourites – but places are limited,” Ms Green said.
Activities are fully supervised and transport from pick-up points is included in most of the activities.
To ensure that everyone enjoys the program, behaviour guidelines apply and spaces are limited so book early.
For week one of the school holidays, bookings close on Wednesday, 14 June, and for week two, bookings close on Wednesday, 21 June.
“There is no reason to stay at home during the school holidays when there is so much exciting stuff happening as part of the City of Casey’s teenage school holiday program,” Ms Green said.
To book, visit City of Casey Customer Service Centres or call 9705 5200 for a booking form, or visit www.insideinfo.casey.vic.gov.au.
