THREE people have faced court following the attempted kidnapping of a Cranbourne North man.
Police believe the 24-year-old man was ambushed at the Mobil Service Station on the corner of Thompsons Road and South Gippsland Highway about 7.20pm on Thursday, 9 February.
Police said he was attacked from behind, gagged and dragged toward the boot of a waiting car before managing to escape and flee to safety inside the service station.
A 24-year-old Rosebud woman, 23-year-old Rosebud man and 19-year-old Rosebud man were charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment, robbery, theft and other assault charges.
All three were bailed to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday (20 February).
One person was bailed to reappear on Monday, 15 May and warrants have been issued for the arrest of two of those charged after they failed to appear in court.
