PARENTS and friends were treated to a special lunch made by their own children last week.
Kids at Cranbourne West Primary School have been taking part in a Life Skills program which is designed to assist them in developing skills required for everyday life.
The course included learning about hygiene, cooking skills, budgeting and healthy food concepts.
Last Friday, children at the school designed a special luncheon in which they invited along important people in their lives.
Cranbourne West Primary School integration assistant Keryn Heritage said the luncheon was the conclusion of a six-month course of work for the children.
Ms Heritage said the course had been important in also incorporating the school’s key values – learn, trust, respect and sense of humour.
