Sentimental journey ends up getting lost

By Sarah Schwager
A COLLECTION of old photographs has been found at Centro Cranbourne Shopping Centre.
The group of 33 photos, which appear to be dated from the 1960s, were handed in at the shopping centre last week.
However, centre management is concerned that no one has come to claim them.
Centro Cranbourne marketing manager Karen Stephenson said they really wanted to find the owner of the photos.
“They look really old and sentimental,” she said. “Someone must really be missing them.”
Ms Stephenson was surprised no one had inquired about the photos.
“We often get people coming in and asking for their wallet or something. We usually have more queries than we do lost items,” she said.
“But this time no one has come in.”
Anyone wanting to claim the photos can contact the Cranbourne News on 5945 0666.
