‘Repo’ man robs house

A MAN who posed as a repossession officer after he was discovered in a Cranbourne North house last week is being hunted by police.
The intruder was disturbed by the occupant of the Sturt Court house about 6.30am on 14 February. Police said the 53-year-old man was woken by lights turning on and off in the house. He approached the intruder, who said he was working for GD Finance and had come to repossess the man’s computer. The assailant then became verbally aggressive before fleeing the house.
A computer and four model cars were stolen.
The intruder is described as aged is his mid 20s, with short black hair and a solid build. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cranbourne Police on 5991 0661.
