Man chased, bashed, robbed

A HAMPTON Park man was assaulted and robbed after he and a group of friends were chased through the streets last week.
The 22-year-old man was walking along Fordholm Road in Hampton Park last Thursday with friends when they were approached near Hampton Park Secondary College.
They were then chased by a group of youths in a car.
The friends split into three groups, one group running to the safety of a house in Somerville Road.
The carload of youths followed the victim and his friends outside the house, where he was punched in the face and his mobile phone was stolen.
The group of youths has been described as Caucasian, in their early 20s and driving an old yellow car. The incident happened about 8pm.
Anyone with information should contact Detective Senior Constable Ollie Gaspari at Cranbourne CIU, phone 5995 4577, or Crime Stoppers, phone 1800 333 000.
