Home flooded after theft

A HOUSE under construction in Cranbourne was flooded after a thief removed all the taps and a shower rose.
Taps from the bathroom, kitchen and laundry were stolen between 4pm last Thursday and midday on Friday at the Pharaoh Drive house, owned by Nava Homes.
Police said the rear laundry door had been forced.
The shower rose in the bathroom was also removed, causing flooding throughout the house and damage to the carpets and floorboards.
The value of the items stolen was about $500 while the damage was estimated at $4000.
