Burglar hits home

A HAMPTON Park woman left her house for a short while returning to find someone had stolen her personal belongings.
Police said the woman had left the rear sliding door at her Summit Court home partially open for her dog while she ducked out.
In that time, someone entered through the door and stole two mobile phones, Paris Hilton perfume, Giorgio perfume, a handbag and assorted clothing, including underwear. Police estimated the value of the stolen items totalled $1750.
The burglary happened in the early evening on 23 December.
Police want to speak to a woman seen nearby at the time.
The woman was described as about 30 years old, with long reddish curly hair, wearing a long red skirt and red singlet top.
A red Holden Commodore sedan was also seen at the scene.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Senior Constable Mick Van Hammond at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0661.
