Thieves raid rural property

CRANBOURNE police are seeking public assistance in relation to a burglary at a rural property in Tooradin.
Thieves entered the Muddy Gates Lane house by forcing open a side window between 8am and 6pm on Tuesday 23 October.
A large plasma television, alcohol and cash were taken during the robbery.
Police believe the thieves carried the stolen goods in two pillowcases also taken from the property.
Witnesses report seeing an old-style orange Datsun or similar motor vehicle in the driveway of the property mid-morning.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact Detective Senior Constable Michael Van Hamond on 5991 0600.
