POLICE are treating a fire that destroyed the bedroom of a Hampton Park house as suspicious.
The blaze broke out at the Strong Drive home about 8.45am on Thursday, 2 March.
It took fire crews about half an hour to control the fire, which was contained to the rear bedroom of the single-storey brick home.
A woman and her daughter were home at the time of the fire but escaped unharmed.
Three Country Fire Authority trucks from Hampton Park and Hallam attended.
Cranbourne Police are investigating the fire.
