POLICE are seeking assistance from the public to find a man robbing taxi drivers in Cranbourne at knifepoint after a fourth incident.
On Thursday 25 October at 9.20pm on Monahans Road, a man approached a taxi after calling for a fare.
He asked the 22 year-old taxi driver to follow him around the corner to collect his friend.
Once the taxi driver followed the man around the corner, the man then reached into the taxi window and turned off the ignition, produced a knife and demanded money.
He took the cash and ran off down Monahans Road.
Police believe this incident is linked to three others in the same area in recent weeks.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incidents to contact Cranbourne Criminal Investigation Unit on 5991 0600.
