REV up for the annual Cranbourne Car and Bike Show 2006.
Enjoy a day out for the whole family when the popular event roars into Cranbourne on Saturday, 26 March from 10am to 4pm.
Last year’s show attracted more than 15,000 people, 500 cars and 200 bikes, and was awarded the City of Casey’s Community Event of the Year.
Entry is free and this year’s event boasts something for everyone, including live bands, swap meet, trade alley, kids entertainment and car boot sale.
Car and bike registration is also free with trophies offered in about 40 categories. Organiser Greg Kaye said he was looking forward to the biggest show ever, hoping to attract more than 20,000 people.
“We have already had a lot of interest from people wanting to enter their car or bike and even interest in people who want a car boot site,” he said.
“We thank the City of Casey for their generous grant of $10,000 to enable us to run the event. They have also given us a grant of $4500 to provide free rides for the kids, including a ferris wheel, mini golf and petting zoo.”
The Cranbourne Car and Bike Show 2006 will be held at Lawson Poole Reserve, corner Thompsons Road and South Gippsland Highway, Cranbourne.
