Man injured in dispute

A CRANBOURNE man was left in a critical condition after he was assaulted last week.
Police said the 22-year-old had a dispute with a man known to him on Wednesday, 27 June at Ashton Court, Cranbourne.
The altercation turned physical and the man sustained life-threatening injuries.
He was rushed to The Alfred hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
A 23-year-old Berwick man last week handed himself in at Cranbourne police station.
He was assisting police with their inquiries, however police said yesterday (Wednesday) that no charges had been laid.
Cranbourne detectives are still trying to piece together the incidents that led to the man being taken to hospital.
