A LARGE quantity of cigarettes was stolen from a service station in Cranbourne last week.
The Railway Garage and car repair shop in High Street next to the Cranbourne Railway Station was broken into on Monday, 4 September at 8.15pm.
The offenders forced open the front glass doors, got behind the counter, then forced open the roller doors to the cigarette cabinet.
They then loaded cigarettes into a large plastic bag.
Police said bypassers saw offenders, one dressed in a balaclava, dark pants and black top, flee down High Street to Arundel Street where they got into a white Ford EA sedan and drove off.
Anyone with information contact Detective Senior Constable Tim Gleeson at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0661.
