Fundraiser for kids tops $11K

A Cranbourne business has helped raise more than $11,000 for the Alannah & Madeline Foundation during a trivia night on Thursday 15 November.

Staff from Cranbourne’s Highview Accounting and Financial, along with family and friends turned out to support the event at Cranbourne Turf Club with more than 270 in attendance.

Marketing Manager at Highview Brodie Crowther thanked all businesses for donating $6,500 worth of donated prizes.

“It was certainly extremely humbling to see such generosity in the community when planning this fundraising event, enabling every single cent raised to go directly to the cause,” she said.

“Events like this are a great way to show support, and Highview is pleased to be able to make a positive impact in our communities and hopes this inspires others to follow in the same footsteps.”

General Manager of fundraising and communications from the Alannah & Madeline Foundation, Jacqui Molensen also spoke at the event, educating guests on the impact of their donations.
