A CRANBOURNE man was attacked in his car on Saturday after he pulled in to a McDonald’s car park.
Police said the 26-year-old man drove his Holden Commodore ute into McDonald’s on the corner of Camms Road and South Gippsland Highway, Cranbourne, about 1am on Saturday.
As he parked his car, a group of about 10 to 15 teenagers converged, kicking and punching the car and jumping into the back tray.
As the man tried to drive away the teenagers threw bottles and restaurant chairs at the car, breaking the front windscreen.
They then ran off down Camms Road.
Police said the attack appeared to be random, and are appealing for witnesses to contact Senior Constable Colin Barber at Cranbourne uniform on 5995 4681.
