Police seeking dashcam footage after Devon Meadows hit-run

A 79-year-old man has been hospitalised with serious injuries following a hit-run incident in Devon Meadows on Monday 28 April.

The man, who had been riding a bicycle, was involved in a collision with a grey/silver BMW SUV at around 2.15pm as they both travelled north on Fisheries Road.

The driver of the SUV failed to stop at the scene or render aid, and remains outstanding at this point, police say.

Cardinia Highway Patrol are still working to determine the exact circumstances of the collision, and are appealing for dashcam footage to help provide clarity.
