Grants for Casey Community Events Now Available

Applications for the City of Casey’s 2025/26 Community Grants Program and 2025–28 Event Funding Program are now open.

Grants of up to $5,000 are available to support community programs, projects and events, while financial assistance of up to $25,000 for three years is available for large or significant events.

This funding assists community groups and organisations in providing services, programs and events that benefit the community.

City of Casey Mayor Cr Stefan Koomen said: “I am a strong advocate for community events. My family and I have had the pleasure of attending and enjoying numerous events across the city. Community-driven initiatives play a vital role in fostering strong, connected, and thriving communities in Casey.

“I encourage any community group or organisation with a project or event that requires financial support to apply and take advantage of this valuable opportunity.”

During the last round of community grants, Council supported 124 projects from right across the City, including, kids camps, cricket tournaments, family sports days, food drives, mental health programs, and technology and finance workshops.

A further 27 events were supported via the event funding program, including ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day Services, the Casey Festival of Colours, the Lynbrook Lantern Festival, Casey Relay for Life, Berwick and Doveton Shows.

Applications close at 5pm on Friday 14 March.
