Melbourne Stars Family Day hits

Casey’s cricket fans are encouraged to mark their calendars for the upcoming Melbourne Stars Family Day returning to Casey Fields on Sunday 10 December.

With the event running from 10.00 am – 2.00 pm, attendees will have a day of free activities for all ages including the opportunity for a meet and greet with the Melbourne Stars playing squad.

Some of the other activities planned for the day include a signing and selfie session, chance to watch open training, food trucks, performance stage, and roaming entertainment.

City of Casey’s chair of administrators Noelene Duff encouraged Casey families to save the date and come along for the family day.

“The Melbourne Stars Family Day is proving to be a crowd favourite amongst our community, and with close to 3,000 cricket fans of all ages attending last year, we know this year is set to be another big event,” she said.

“We’re pleased to deliver this fantastic event for our community that offers a wide variety of fun for the whole family and also provides a great opportunity for kids to discover their interest in cricket or test out their skills in the nets.

“Council is proud to continue our partnership with the Melbourne Stars as they grow their fan base and community initiatives in the south-east of Melbourne and inspire the next generation of cricket stars.”
