LANG LANG GOLF
The July Monthly Medal went up for grabs at Lang Lang Golf Club on Saturday with 109 starters fighting it out for the big prize.
Peter Butler claimed the medal – and Division Two – with a fantastic round of nett 66, winning via a countback from Division Three winner Peter Gulliver.
Results for each division were as follows:
The Division One winner was Bart McDonald with a nett 69, from runner up Richard Briggs on nett 70 by countback to third-placed Bret Mottram.
The Division Two winner was Peter Butler with nett 66 from runner up Fia TooToo with nett 69 and Stuart Harry was third with nett 70.
The Division Three winner was Peter Gulliver with nett 66 from runner up Corey Bradley with nett 69 and Darren Polson was third with nett 72.
Ball rundown went to nett 75 and nearest the pins went to 5th Richard Briggs, 9th Benn Hayes, 12th Richard Briggs and 15th Corey Johnson.
Third hole second shots went to Frankie Chiu (Div 1) and Cheryl Stockdale (Div 2).
• Tuesday Stableford
The Division One winner was Col McLean with 37 points, winning by countback from runner up Roger Parker.
The Division Two winner was Robert Garrett (Settlers Run GC) with 37 points, also winning by countback from runner up Ian Murray.
Ball rundown went to 34 points and nearest the pins went to 5th Phil Mott, 9th Ralph Hendrich, 12th Lionel Mahony and 15th Roger Parker.
• Wednesday Ladies Stableford
The winner was Kerrie Davey with 38 points from runner up Betty Williamson with 35 points and ball rundown went to 24 points.
Nearest the pin went to Paula Sweeney on the 12th.
• Thursday Stableford Competition
The Division 1 winner was Dale Gude with 39 points by countback to runner up John Johnson.
The Division 2 winner was Sue Van Gaal with 36 points from runner up Steve Fuller with 35 points.
Ball rundown went to 33 points and nearest the pins went to 5th Michael Herman, 9th Rob Volk, 12th John Johnson and 15th Chris Clark.
