Rae and Boyd clean up the medals at Lang Lang

The coveted May Monthly Medal went up for grabs at Lang Lang Golf Club on Saturday with a strong field fighting it out for bragging rights.

Congratulations to Taylor Rae for winning the Men’s Monthly Medal and to Jennifer Boyd for taking out the Women’s Medal.

The Division 1 winner was Taylor Rea with 65 nett from runner up Ray Zammit with 70 nett and third place going to Frankie Chiu with 72 nett.

The Division 2 winner was Brendan Boyd with 67 nett by countback to runner up Kallan Braid-Ball, with third place going to Michael Harmes with 68 nett.

The Division 3 winner was Michael Insall with 70 nett, from runner up Julian Manning with 73 nett and third place went to Michael Duncan with 74 nett. Ball rundown to 74 points.

Other results this week were as follows:

• Tuesday Par Comp

The winner was Peter Sellers with a score of +3 by countback to runner up Bradley Vigilante.

Ball rundown to +1.

Nearest the pins went to 5th Bradley Vigilante, 9th Nick Dryden, 12th Roger Parker and 15th Colin Crowle.

• Wednesday Ladies Monthly Medal

The winner was Heather Payne with 74 nett from runner up Robyne Goldring with 75 nett.

• Thursday 2BBB/Stableford Comp

The stableford winner was Louis Stanford with 41 points by countback to runner up Jaymes Leahy with 39 points. Ball rundown to 35 points.

2BBB winners were Clive Taylor and Laurie Burgess with 47 points by countback to runners up Mark Stanford and Louis Stanford.

Nearest the pins went to 5th Noel Boyd, 9th Brad Butler, 12th Dale Gude and 15th Stuart Powell.
