Public Hall promise matched

The Cranbourne Public Hall has secured bi-partisan support ahead of this weekend’s State Election.

The Coalition announced on Wednesday 16 November a $1 million commitment to upgrade the facility, following Labor’s commitment of the same value from earlier in the week.

Funding will address “urgent maintenance issues, undertaking internal and external improvements or developing of new spaces,” the Coalition said.

Liberal Candidate for Cranbourne, Jagdeep Singh, was glad to be able to announce the funding.

“The hall is booked out well into 2024 – an indicator as to how important it is for the Cranbourne Community and the commitment from the Liberals and Nationals will give it the boost it needs to continue delivering for its community,” Mr Singh said.
