Car makes unannounced visit

Casey Highway Patrol are investigating an incident in Cranbourne West on Monday 1 August which saw a car crash into a house.

Investigators have been told the car struck the house on Duff Street around 5.30pm.

VICSES volunteers from the Narre Warren Unit responded to the incident and made temporary repairs to stabilise the building, a VICSES spokesperson said.

Paramedics treated the driver, a woman in her late teens, at the scene for lower body injuries.

She had been extricated from the vehicle prior to SES crews arriving. and was taken to Frankston Hospital in a stable condition.

Police say the exact circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated.
