Pedestrian struck in Pearcedale

Police and emergency services are attending after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Baxter-Tooradin Road, Pearcedale.

“It’s understood a teenage boy was crossing the road when he was struck by a car travelling westbound,” police said.

The boy will be airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.

The driver of the vehicle stopped to render assistance at the scene.
