While the Casey Demons had the bye this weekend, a selection of its stars returned to local footy with unequivocal style.

Jimmy Munro made his long-awaited debut for Cora Lynn, Mitch White and Corey Ellison returned to Cranbourne, and promising forward Roan Steele made a statement for Frankston YCW.

Munro was named best afield for the Cobras, as he kicked a goal and collected a stack of the footy in his new sides thumping win over Kilcunda Bass.

Mitch White has been in scintillating form for the Demons and carried that into the Eagles clash with Mordialloc.

White is averaging 28 disposals to go with 13 goals in eight matches for the Demons this year and was a welcome inclusion to Steve O’Brien’s side on Saturday, kicking seven majors.

O’Brien also had Corey Ellison back in his side as the Eagles cruised to a big win over Mordy.

Roan Steele, meanwhile, has been linked to a number of clubs ahead of the mid-season draft and was electric for the Stonecats on Saturday.

Steele fired off six majors to guide his home club to a big win over Sorrento in the Toe Punt Cup.

All four Demons will be straight back into the Casey line-up next weekend, as it faces Frankston at Skybus Stadium.
