A man was seriously injured following a collision in Cranbourne on Saturday morning, 23 April that saw the intersection of Thompsons Road and South Gippsland Highway closed in all directions.
The incident took place shortly before 6am, police say, with emergency services required to divert traffic during the clean-up.
The male driver of one vehicle was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, while the male driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries, police say.
Cardinia Highway Patrol are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
